SiRF acquires TrueSpan

SiRF are solidifying their position in the GPS/PMP (portable media player) market by their recent acquisition of TrueSpan - a company which has developed a platform for audio and video on mobile devices. This now places SiRF is a strong position in two of the fasted growing technology markets - GPS and mobile entertainment.
