wikiHow article - How to go geocaching
April 29, 2006
wikiHow has an excellent introductory article on geocaching. It does a good job of covering all the basics (what is geocaching, what you need, where to get cache information) before going on to offer a huge number of tips, warnings and a tour of common geocaching language.
This is the best description of geocaching that I've yet to see. It's far better than the descriptions that most of the caching sites have and it's also been kept generic so it applies to all the different caching sites.
Excellent link - well worth keeping and passing on to someone interesting in geocaching.
