BusinessWeek reviews the Garmin StreetPilot c550

BusinessWeek has posted a very positive review of the Garmin StreetPilot c550 GPS unit, looking at how it copes with heavy urban traffic.
The reviewer, Arik Hesseldahl, is particularly impressed by the ability of the StreetPilot c550 to "detect" traffic jams by tapping in to the traffic message channel, an FM data broadcast that contains traffic information, and warn the driver of heavy traffic. When traffic is hit, it's a matter of pressing the detour button and waiting a few seconds while the GPS unit calculates a new route.
