Follow the automatic search selections, and the device files will be loaded from the same folder as the utility script is in. Once finished exit the "New Hardware Found" utility from Windows.
- Double click on the "Blue_screen_lockup_fix.exe" program icon in the folder and follow the on-screen instructions.
- When the update completes, turn the Magellan RoadMate 800 off via the 1/0 switch on the top of the unit ( Move to 0 ).
- Disconnect the USB cable from the Magellan RoadMate 800.
- Turn the Magellan RoadMate 800 back on via the 1/0 switch on the top of the unit ( Move to 1 ), and verify that the Navigator application starts after the user clicks the "Ok" button on the "Warning screen". You should see the Navigator main menu displayed.
- Your Magellan RoadMate 800 can now be used normally.
