ViaMichelin X-960 and ViaMichelin X-970T

ViaMichelin debut two new GPS receivers at CeBIT. Neither of these host anything new and neither are particularly powerful. Nonetheless, it goes to show how fast the automotive GPS market is expanding.
ViaMichelin X-960
Here's the spec of the X-960:
- SiRF III GPS receiver
- 3.5 inch touchscreen
- Samsung CPU running at 300 MHz
- 2 hour battery life
- Dimensions: 10 x 7.7 x 2.1 cm
- Windows CE.Net 5.0
- 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of ROM
- Weight: 136g
The X-960 will come with maps of individual European countries at €229. It will be also available with a complete set of European maps for €299.

ViaMichelin X-970T
Here's the spec on the X-970T:
Main features of the X-970T :
- SiRF III integrated GPS receiver
- External receiver RDS/TMC
- Hands free Bluetooth kit
- 3.5 inch touchscreen supporting 65K colors and 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA) resolution
- Samsung CPU at 400 MHz
- 3 hour battery life
- Dimensions: 10.8 x 8.0 x 2.1 cm
- Windows CE.Net 5.0
- 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of ROM
- Weight: 155g
As with the X-060, the X-970T comes in two flavors - one with separate maps of European countries costing €329 and one loaded with a full compliment of European maps that will set you back €399.
